Institute of Heating and Air Conditioning Industries, Inc. (IHACI) has deep roots in California, touching every aspect of the HVAC industry. IHACI members were united in identifying education and training of the present and future workforce as vital to California’s commitment to reduce energy consumption and to ensure that consumers are receiving the quality service they deserve.
A series of training classes were developed for the industry, by the industry to help implement industry best practices.
IHACI courses focus on California Quality Installation, Maintenance, and Service (CAQI/QM/QS), and North American Technician Excellence (NATE) training. IHACI training is designed to empower California’s HVAC workforce to remain code compliant, adhere to California’s Title 24 energy regulations and standards, dramatically reduce energy consumption and adhere to industry best practices.
