As in years past, great turnout led to another great tournament. The bell sounded and the tournament field took off, as scheduled, in a shotgun start.

The Institute of Heating and Air Conditioning Industries (IHACI) wishes to thank everyone who participated in its 23rd Annual Spring Golf Tournament, Monday, May 21, 2007, at the California Country Club in Whittier, Calif. At the dinner following the tournament, Bobby Hahn, of Pacific Systems Group and chairman of the 2007 Golf Tournament Committee, introduced the other members of the committee: Jim Batts, Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP); Randy Blake, Blake Air Conditioning and Service Company; Keith Thomas, CASCO; and Steve Yantzer, Yantzer Brothers Air.

 

First Place winners of the tournament were, with a score of 11 under par, Yantzer Brothers Air (Steve Yantzer, Sam Schott, Mike Yantzer and Bud Alleman).

The success of the event was due in large part to the 2007 corporate sponsors, which included: Buddy Delaney, Mitsubishi, who donated a sleeve of golf balls for each player; Penny Yonan, US Airconditioning Distributors, who hosted the on-course beverages; Jim Batts, LADWP, who donated the tee-bags; Steve Adams, Air Cold, who hosted the on-course box lunches; David Mastrangelo, Goodman Distribution, who hosted the cocktail reception; Carlos Ruiz and Darrell Brand, Southern California Gas Company, who hosted the awards dinner.

 

Second place, with a score of 10 under par, was Glenn Heating & Air with Marc Mittelman (in photo), Jim Owens, Jeff Reed and Bill Wood.
