On Monday, May 16, 2011, the Institute of Heating and Air Conditioning Industries, Inc. (IHACI) produced its 27th Annual Spring Golf Tournament at the California Country Club in Whittier, Calif. Members of the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) industry, from manufacturers and distributors to dealers, were on hand for the sold-out event, a shotgun/scramble game of 18-hole golf, followed by cocktails, dinner and prizes.
The MGM Heating and Air Conditioning teamMarc Mittelman, Jeff Reid, Kevin Power and Ryan Keatingwon the trophy for first place, with a score of 58, 14 under par.
In second place, winning a tie-breaker, was the Westlake Risk and Insurance Services teamSteve Stanfield, Mike Mitchell, Neil Churchill and Todd Kaisescoring 60, 12 under par.
Third place went to the Yantzer Brothers Air teamSteve Yantzer, Mike Yantzer, Ed Andrews and Bud Allemanwith a score of 60, 12 under par.
The award for highest score, 77, five over par, went to the Sigler/Daikin team of?Ram Motupalli, Ray Cranston, Sam Barnes and Brian Seiderman.
Closest to pin winners were Marc Mittelman on Hole Two and Steve Adams on Hole 10. The longest drive winners were, for men, Tim Robb, and for women, Cathy Mendez.
